Top 5 Sites to Download Free Design Content

The top 5 site’s that I think are a great place to download these freebies are:

  1. Dribbble.com

Dribbble is an online community for showcasing user-made artwork.

You can find some pretty cool stuff here, from freebies to inspirational art.

So in order to find the freebies on dribbble.com we can go to the search field and type the word “Free” and hit Enter.

It will then bring up the most popular items on the site with the search phrase “Free”.

You can click on “Recent” to get the latest items published on the site!

Note that Dribbble has an invite-only membership system, where a number of invitations are handed out to artists and designers to freely distribute them amongst their peers.

So you only get the items these certian artists and designers publish.

  1. Behance.net

Unlike Dribbble, Showcasing your art in Behance is free to all.

anyone can sign up for free in Behance.net and start publishing his or her artwork internationally!

Similar to what we did in dribbble, we go to the search field and type Free and hit enter.

then we can go to the most recent section to get the latest items.

  1. Speckyboy.com

Speckyboy was founded by a guy named Paul Andrew and is supported

by an amazing team of writers and editors that publish a lot of cool stuff like insightful tutorials and tips, time-saving techniques and resources, and inspirational art, covering web and mobile app design, UX design and graphic design.

Every week and month they put together some great news and free resources for designers.

Just head on to their site and check out what they have to offer.

  1. DeviantArt.com

DeviantArt is also an online community. Is was founded in August 2000.

It claims to be the largest online social network for artists and art  enthusiasts, and a platform for emerging and established artists to exhibit, promote, and share their works with an enthusiastic, art-centric community.

They have over 38 million registered members and attract over 65 million

unique visitors per month. The members — known as deviants — upload over 160,000 original art works every day, everything from painting and sculpture to digital art, pixel art, films, and anime.

  1. Envato Market

Envato (formerly known as Eden) operates a group of digital marketplaces that sell creative assets for web designers, including themes, graphics, video, audio, photography and 3D models.

Envato Market offers digital assets for use in creative projects, with over 8 million digital products from a global community of over 6 million designers, developers, photographers, illustrators and video producers, operating across seven marketplaces in 200 countries

The marketplaces are:

  • Themeforest: Which has themes and templates for websites on multiple platforms like WordPress, Joomla, Drupal, and Magento.
  • CodeCanyon: has plugins, scripts, and code for platforms and operating systems like WordPress, HTML5, PHP, Javascript, Bootstrap, iOS and Android.
  • VideoHive: has stock footage, motion graphics, After Effects and Apple Motion templates that assist with video production.
  • AudioJungle: has music and sound effects for projects like film, games, trailers, promotions, and podcasts.
  • GraphicRiver: has illustrations, icons, and templates for flyers, resumes, banners and presentations.
  • PhotoDune: has stock photos and images, with categories such as tech, business, food, travel, and fitness.
  • 3DOcean: has 3D models, textures, base meshes, and plugins to enhance games and animations.

Every month Envato picks one of each marketplaces items as the free product of the month and you can download them for free.

So if we just got to one of the marketplaces, for example themeforest, it lists all the monthly free items of every marketplace and you just need to be signed up on Envato and logged in to your account to be able to download them for free!

signing up on Envato is also free!

and that is it guys!

I hope you enjoyed it.

Peace!
